Hello! I'm excited to share with you the latest update for SF_KT. This update introduces a brand-new cover system, allowing your Operatives to take cover and reduce damage. Additionally, I've addressed several bugs to improve the overall gameplay experience. For more details, please refer to the changelog below.
Moving forward, I plan to focus on improving the feedback system, ensuring that players can easily see the control range of their operatives. This will be crucial for determining whether an Operative is in cover, close combat, or any other status changes.
Changelog:
- New Cover system: Choose between half and full cover to reduce damage or avoid all ranged attacks, respectively.
- Control range: This new system determines whether an operative is in cover or close combat.
- Improved visual feedback: Enhanced visuals for elements like navmesh and more.
- Bug fixes:
- Blood particles now spawn correctly.
- Operatives can move as intended.
- Optimization: Improved overall performance.
Known Issues:
- AI isn't fully optimized to utilize the cover system effectively.
